As a condition of entry to the SIEC, persons:
- Agree to follow the direction and instruction of SIEC staff at all times whilst at the SIEC
- Agree to adhere to all directions displayed on signage at the SIEC
- Agree they will not do any of the following within the SIEC:
(a) use indecent, obscene, insulting or threatening language
(b) behave in an offensive or indecent manner
(c) ride a horse without a safety helmet and without appropriate clothing and footwear
(d) light any fire
(e) bring or attempt to bring into the SIEC any alcohol or glass without the written approval of the SIEC
(f) bring a dog to the SIEC without a lead. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst at the SIEC
(g) take animals into any building at the SIEC
(h) leave any personal or animal waste at the SIEC, except if that waste is left in the appropriate bins allocated
(i) use any fire hoses at the SIEC. Penalties will apply
(j) interfere with or harm any wildlife at the SIEC
(k) smoke in or around any SIEC building. All SIEC buildings are smoke free
(l) break, damage, deface, obliterate or cover any structure, machinery, equipment, sign, descriptive plate or label
- Must comply with all NSW Road Rules and related legislation. All roads are designated public carriage ways and NSW legislation and Road Rules apply. In addition, the following applies:
(a) only registered vehicles (including motorcycles and four wheel bikes) are permitted to be used at the SIEC
(b) riders of motorcycles, bicycles and four wheel bikes must wear Australian standard approved helmets at all times
(c) bicycles or any vehicles must not be used after dark without front & rear lights
(d) golf carts must have current conditional registration in accordance with RTA legislation. Golf carts are only permitted to carry the specified number of passengers, no overloading will be permitted. Golf carts may only be operated by licensed drivers. Golf carts must not be driven whilst the driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Between sunset and sunrise all golf carts are to be parked in a central location, specified by the SIEC, and keys are to be removed. No golf carts are to be driven on site after dark unless authorised in writing
(e) all SIEC road signage and speed limits are to be adhered to at all times
(f) all vehicles, except those so authorised, must park in designated car or truck parking areas and must only use bitumen roads
- Acknowledge that the SIEC accepts no liability for the loss of, or damage to, vehicles, or any other goods or articles
- If camping, agree to camp only in designated areas. Power leads must be tagged and tested, and installed in a safe manner and must not cross roads or paths
- Must stable horses if the horses are staying overnight
- Must be respectful of horse riders and other SIEC users
- Must ensure persons under the age of 18 are supervised by an adult at all times
- Must report all incidents, accidents and damages to SIEC venue management
The SIEC may refuse admission to, or cause to be removed from, the SIEC any person that is, in the opinion of SIEC staff, intoxicated or any person that fails to abide with these conditions of entry or any other written signage at the SIEC. Persons must not remain on any part of the SIEC after having been requested to leave by a SIEC staff member.
